With Art Basel in town, all eyes are on Miami and focused on Wynwood, now that street art has gained credibility as real art. Ahol Sniffs Glue is one of Miami’s most prolific street artists. His characteristic, repetitive eyeballs grace the interior and exterior walls of the Magic City’s hippest businesses, like coffee shop and record store Sweat Records. Ahol’s optic images are also seen on murals in the Wynwood Arts District; his eyeballs bubble up from sidewalks, multiplying, spreading, and invading the streets like a disease, while the artist’s ubiquitous stickers are bombed over restaurants, businesses, sidewalks and streets.
