The spirits of the 1960s were once again alive at Art Basel. A notorious ripe banana duct-taped to a wall, reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s iconic banana, made headlines for selling for just 120,000 dollars.

Pop art and the icons from that era have infused the creations present at the satellite art fairs for years, and this year was no exception, proving that old age adage: “genius steals.” Here are some scenes from Art Miami, Aqua Art Fair and Veritas Farms’ Toast to Basel.

The colorful art of the era wouldn’t have been much without the use of some mind altering substances but Art Miami was focused on health and wellness this year with Veritas Farms are the official sponsor. Their CBD infused drinks, tinctures and skin care products were a hit with the art loving crowd.

It was a groovy ol’ time.
