“WWF does such a great job with conservation and awareness, I figured they would be the perfect platform to donate to while also allowing people to get an idea of the impact their donations will be contributing towards.”
We all watched the fires in Australia and felt helplessness seeing the destruction ensuing. But our hopes were uplifted when we saw people coming together to help. Many people have come together to raise funds for the catastrophe occurring in Australia.

This Friday, eight bands are coming together to perform acoustic sets and raise awareness for wildlife conservation. Join together with like hearted individuals and help make an impact in the community. Following Amazon Rockfest, this is our second event dedicated to aiding wildlife conservation efforts in highly impacted areas.
In respect and concern of Australia’s wildlife, we’ll be collecting donations and sending them to WWF’s Wildlife & Nature Recover Fund. These donations will not only benefit the landscape, animals, and indigenous people affected by the recent wildfires, it will also aid in the prevention of future catastrophes.
Save Australia T shirts are also being sold online by YoshiiTortuga; all profits will be donated as well. Aussie Rockfest takes place January 24th at Tea and Poets and runs from 7pm to 12am. If you cannot attend and would still like to contribute, we are accepting Cash App donations ($theforestjamboree) until January 26th. Every donation counts so please come out and show your support for one of the wildest, and one of my favorite, places on Earth 🐨❤

“While we can raise all the funds in the world to help the current recovery efforts, it’s important we make better consumer choices to prevent further need of land to use for agriculture. Enjoy some Vegan Cookies from the cafe menu at Tea & Poets,” editor, Monica V.
